Organized by the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan International Conference «Tajikistan-Central Asia: the politics of good-neighborliness, mutual support, eternal friendship and common development» was held in Dushanbe on March 10, 2023.
During his speech at the event, Deputy Director of Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Mukhammadzoda Parviz Abdurahmon noted: «The foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan due to the wise and visionary policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the distinguished Emomali Rahmon has always been peaceful and generous in nature. By proclaiming the principle of «open doors», we have confirmed our intention for mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial cooperation with all neighboring and distant countries. Central Asia has a priority position in the foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, and we consider cooperation with the states of the region as the most important mechanism for joint development, peace and stability. Tajikistan sees the way to solve any internal regional problems exclusively through peaceful negotiations as the most effective tool to solve them. As recent events have shown, only negotiations can solve existing problems.
